BIQ Health Solutions Consolidates the MAPP® Platform Across Lusíadas Saúde Group
BIQ Health Solutions is strengthening the implementation of the MAPP® – Mobile App Platform across the different units of the Lusíadas Saúde Group, consolidating the use of the technological solution in hospitals and clinics from north to south of the country.
The expansion of the platform represents a new step in Lusíadas Saúde Group’s digital transformation strategy, promoting greater technological integration, improved clinical mobility, operational optimisation and an enhanced experience for healthcare professionals and patients.
Developed by BIQ Health Solutions, MAPP® is a mobile platform designed for portable devices that integrates different clinical and operational solutions into a single digital ecosystem, supporting the entire hospital value chain. The platform transforms mobile devices into clinical workstations, enabling healthcare professionals to access information and securely record clinical data in real time, directly at the patient’s bedside.
By reducing dependence on manual and fragmented processes, as well as the need for constant movement between fixed workstations, the platform contributes to greater proximity between professionals and patients, supporting a faster, more efficient and safer clinical response.
The availability of real-time clinical information at the point of care helps improve continuity of care, strengthen communication between multidisciplinary teams and reduce the risks associated with information gaps or delays in clinical documentation. At the same time, MAPP® helps improve the quality and consistency of records, strengthen the traceability of critical processes and optimise operational workflows across the different hospital units.
