Ekanban® at Hospital Garcia de Orta
BIQ Health Solutions has begun implementing the Ekanban® solution in the Logistics Department and four Clinical Services at Hospital Garcia de Orta.
The implemented solution covers three main activities: Consumption, Picking and Inventory.
This model enables automated management of all item movements, from their arrival at the central warehouse through to final consumption, while ensuring a continuously updated inventory.
BIQ Health Solutions and the hospital are currently preparing to expand the solution to the remaining Clinical Services and the Pharmacy Department.
