MAPP® Solution at Hospital da Prelada in Porto
Hospital da Prelada, part of Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto, has begun implementing the MAPP® solution as part of its process improvement project.
The solution is being introduced to improve two key areas in a modern hospital: Logistics and bedside nursing care.
To increase efficiency, Ekanban® was selected for logistics, while PharmaTrac® and CareTrac® were chosen to support nursing activities.
Ekanban® supports the Procurement and Pharmacy Services in Receiving, Picking and Inventory activities, while also supporting Consumption processes across the remaining hospital departments.
PharmaTrac® supports medication administration management, while CareTrac® supports the delivery of clinical care. Both solutions enable activities to be recorded directly at the patient’s bedside, contributing to more efficient and patient-centred care.
