PharmaTrac® and Pneumatic Transport System at CHUCB

One of BIQHS’s most recent projects, developed in partnership with CHUCB, introduces an innovative approach to medication transport and administration by integrating PharmaTrac® with a pneumatic tube transport system. This solution will enable urgent medication to be transported from the Pharmacy Services directly to the Clinical Services.

The integration of these systems will make the medication circuit more efficient and paperless, from the pharmacy to the patient, enhancing safety while also improving working conditions for healthcare professionals, allowing them to focus their attention on patient care.

With this implementation, the hospital will benefit from an innovative pneumatic transport system integrated into the medication circuit. Combined with PharmaTrac®, which validates medication administration at the patient’s bedside, it enables full traceability of medication from the moment it is dispatched by the Pharmacy Services until it is administered to the patient.
