BTrac® at Unidade Local de Saúde de Matosinhos

BIQ Health Solutions is implementing the BTrac® solution at Unidade Local de Saúde de Matosinhos.

BTrac® uses a mobile device to scan patient identification wristbands, ensuring correct patient identification not only during sample collection but also throughout the transfusion process. This helps ensure that the right blood components are administered to the right patient at the right time.

In the initial phase, the solution will cover 16 transfusion points and 8 admission points, with plans to subsequently expand it across the entire ULS Matosinhos.
